Ballerup
East Kilbride's twin town

Ballerup is East Kilbride's twin town in DENMARK.    The link between the two towns goes back many years and the Ballerup name can be found in East Kilbride in places like Ballerup High School and the Ballerup Hall.

Although Scotland's local government reform has robbed East Kilbride of it's own seat of local government,   moves are afoot to maintain and strengthen the link between the two towns.
